Lots of stuff goin' on.....

How in the world is it already February 4th?????? 

Wow...

Well, we have a lot planned for the next six months.

Soon it will be June 4th and I'll be wondering how that happened!

We are now members of CHS,

(Cary Home Schoolers).

This is awesome! I'm very excited about being a part of this group.

We made it official on December 9th

and since then have participated in a very cold, (but fun) cookie exchange for Christmas.

We have foregone park days due to either holidays or weather since then,

but there are lots of activities planned for the near future with this group.

Yay for CHS!

Next on the schooling social agenda is a Valentine's Day party on February 12th

at a community center here in downtown Cary.

We are awaiting the official list of attendees so that we may personalize our Valentine's.

The kids went to their book club meetings last week 

which means we were at the library three evenings in a row.

(Actually not all that unusual for us.)

No book clubs for February as we will be in Colorado during the meetings.

We began a poetry unit in January. We have some talented kids!

I will post some of their work later in the week.
