Maya doesn't know it yet, but she's going to take part in an online science fiction interactive mystery
conducted by the Smithsonian Institute and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
It's an 8 week event and sponsored by the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences. In my on going quest to find ways to make science interesting for Maya, I have decided to sign her up for this program and hope that it turns out to be a very good thing.

It starts on April 4th, and she's not officially signed up yet...but I think Scott will have fun helping her with the clues she'll get on a weekly basis and it looks like we'll be taking some field trips to aid her in solving the mysteries put forth.
